How do I verify and open my account?

Verification only happens once you have received an invitation email to our early access program. You will need the appropriate identification such as your passport, driver’s license, your identity card, or resident permit, depending on your country of residence.

To upload your identification, simply take a photo of the document with your mobile device or upload a photo of the document from your browser on your computer.

The entire process should only take about 10 minutes to complete.

What you’ll need

After entering your personal and login details, you will be required to supply ONE of the following forms of identification:

  • Your passport (face photo page)
  • Your driver’s license (front and back)
  • Your identity card, or resident permit, depending on your country of residence (front and back), or
  • Government-issued photo ID (front and back).

To upload any of the above, simply take a photo of the document with your mobile device or upload a photo of the identification document from your browser on your computer.

Essential things to check

  • Ensure all details are legible
  • Make sure the image of your face is clear
  • Check there is no glare or shadow on your photo
  • Use your webcam or phone camera to take a photo of your face

We ask for your photo just to verify that you are the same person as displayed on your uploaded ID document.

After you’ve uploaded everything

  • Please allow 2-3 minutes for the verification process to complete
  • If verification is successful, you'll be directed to the “Final Checks” page
  • If unsuccessful, you'll be asked to retry the process.

Quick tips for success

  • Use an up-to-date version of the Google Chrome browser
  • Face the camera directly
  • Make sure your shoulders and the top of your head are clearly visible
  • Do not wear sunglasses or a hat
  • Use a plain wall as a background
  • Have indirect light and no backlight
  • If you were wearing glasses in your photo ID, try wearing the same glasses in your selfie photo
  • If you weren't wearing glasses in your ID photo, do not wear them in the selfie

Please note

When taking a photo, no scans or photocopies will be accepted.
